Review Account Security
- Open Me > Settings > System Settings > Account Security.
- Check whether the email is linked and verified.
- Check whether a password is set.
- Review the provider methods available for this platform and DressWise.
- Pull to refresh or use Retry if loading fails.
Keep at least one usable sign-in method before unlinking a provider. The last available method cannot be unlinked. Set Password appears only for an account with a verified email and no password; it does not change an existing password.
Sign out
- Finish current edits and image sync.
- Open System Settings and choose Log out.
- Read the confirmation and sign out.
Sign out clears the local session and restarts the app. It does not delete the cloud account. Sign in later with the original DressWise method.
Delete the account
- In System Settings, choose Delete Account and read the first confirmation.
- The first confirmation only opens the verification page; it does not delete the account.
- For an email account, request and enter the 6-digit code. Do not tap the red final button yet.
- For a provider-only account, check the instruction to re-authorize with a linked provider. Authorization begins only after final submission.
- Recheck the account, warning, and red Confirm Delete Account button.
- Tap it only when you are certain. Email accounts submit the code; provider-only accounts require provider selection and authorization.
- Wait for success. The account is disabled, tokens and provider relationships expire, and local data is cleared.
Deleting an account does not cancel App Store or payment-provider auto-renewal and is not a refund request. Cancel subscriptions through their original provider first. Server retention follows the DressWise Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Confirm it worked
- Account Security shows the intended links.
- Signing out returns to the sign-in page and synced data can return after sign-in.
- Successful deletion returns to a signed-out state and the old account cannot be used.
If you need help
- A provider cannot be unlinked: it may be the last available method. Link and verify another method first.
- No deletion code arrived: check spam and resend after the timer ends.
- Provider re-authorization failed: use the original linked provider account.
- Auto-renewal remains: cancel it in App Store or the original payment provider.
- You are unsure about deletion: cancel. Do not use deletion to troubleshoot sign-in, sync, or payments.
