This Privacy Policy explains how Hangzhou Hanguang Technology Co., Ltd. ("Hanguang," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use DressWise. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use DressWise.
This Policy applies to the DressWise mobile application, website, software, features, and related services that we provide (collectively, "DressWise" or the "Services"). DressWise is a wardrobe management and styling product that may provide outfit recording, personalized outfit suggestions, AI-assisted styling, image-based fashion tools, virtual try-on previews, fashion content, and related functions.
Some features, regions, or third-party services may have additional privacy notices. If an additional notice applies, it will supplement this Policy. Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
"Personal information" or "personal data" means information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. Depending on applicable law, this may include account information, device identifiers, online identifiers, photos, usage records, and other information described below.
"Sensitive personal information" means information that may receive special protection under applicable law, such as precise location, biometric identifiers, facial characteristics, certain images, or information about minors. We process sensitive personal information only where necessary for a specific feature, where you authorize it, or where otherwise permitted by law.
We follow the principle of data minimization: we collect and use personal information only where necessary for the relevant purpose, where you provide it voluntarily, where you authorize device permissions, or where otherwise permitted by law.
If you create or log in to an account, we may collect your email address, user ID, nickname, avatar, login credentials or authentication tokens, account settings, and account status. We use this information to create and maintain your account, authenticate you, sync your data across devices, provide customer support, and protect account security.
When you use wardrobe management, outfit recording, style preferences, outfit recommendation, or similar features, you may provide clothing photos, wardrobe item details, outfit records, tags, preferences, sizes, fit information, occasion information, notes, favorites, likes, browsing records, or other style-related information. We use this information to provide the requested features, organize your wardrobe, generate styling suggestions, personalize recommendations, and improve the user experience.
If you use camera, album, image upload, virtual try-on, background replacement, image analysis, or similar image-based features, we may process the photos or images you choose, related image metadata where available and necessary, and feature results generated from those images.
Some image processing may occur on your device, and some may require uploading the selected image to our servers or service providers for processing. We use these images to provide the feature you request, return the processed result, troubleshoot, secure the Services, and improve service quality as described in this Policy. If you upload an image of another person, you must ensure that you have obtained that person's valid authorization.
When you use AI-assisted styling, chat, prompt-based recommendations, weather-based outfit suggestions, virtual try-on, or other AI features, we may process your prompts, text, selected images, wardrobe data, style preferences, interaction records, and generated output. We use this information to provide and improve AI responses, maintain context during your session, support service continuity, prevent misuse, and troubleshoot errors.
Unless clearly stated otherwise and permitted by applicable law, we do not use your identifiable personal photos or private wardrobe content for public marketing. If we seek to use personal information or uploaded images for model training beyond what is necessary to provide and maintain the Services, we will do so only where described to you and where required, with your consent or an available opt-out.
When you use DressWise, we may collect device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, network status, IP address, device identifiers such as Android ID, OAID, IDFA or IDFV where available and permitted, crash logs, diagnostic logs, operation records, and security-related information. We use this information to operate the Services, adapt DressWise to different devices, analyze performance, detect abnormal account activity, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain security.
If DressWise offers link recognition, quick search, or similar features, we may locally read specific content you choose or content available in your clipboard, such as a copied URL, to help you complete the action. Unless we separately notify you and obtain any required permission, clipboard recognition is processed locally and is not uploaded to our servers.
Certain features may request device permissions, including camera, photo library, storage, microphone, notifications, location, calendar, or motion and sensor data. We request these permissions only when needed for a specific feature. You may grant, deny, or later revoke permissions through your device settings. If you deny or revoke a permission, the related feature may not work, but other features may remain available.
If you use weather-based styling or location-related services, we may process approximate or precise location information, depending on the permission you grant, to provide relevant weather or local context. Motion, acceleration, gyroscope, gravity, orientation, or light sensor data may be used to support camera focus, image capture, device orientation, or interactive features. Sensor data alone usually does not identify you.
If you contact us, use help or feedback features, request account support, or ask to exercise privacy rights, we may collect your contact details, account information, device information, app version, network status, description of your issue, and communications with us. We use this information to verify your identity where needed, respond to your request, investigate problems, improve the Services, and keep appropriate records.
We may use usage records, preferences, interactions, device information, and approximate location to personalize content, improve recommendation quality, analyze service performance, and conduct product analytics. If DressWise displays advertising or promotional content, we may use device identifiers, ad interaction data, and usage information to measure ad performance and show more relevant content, where permitted by law and your device settings.
You may be able to manage personalization or advertising preferences in DressWise settings, device settings, or applicable platform controls.
